On the Sunday before Christmas, all the children in Germantown gathered to meet Santa and Mrs Claus for a wonderful morning of smiles and giggles and Holiday excitement and music. It was the annual Breakfast With Santa here in the little village of Germantown. Oh, there was a twinkle in Santa’s eye just to see such a sight.
The one big event that Germantown families look forward to each year is Breakfast With Santa. A wonderful holiday event, it is sponsored by the Germantown Kiwanis Club. Breakfast With Santa happened on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Florian Events Center in Germantown, Wisconsin. For the first time in its history, this event was completely sold out.
There should be a little magic in every child’s Christmas season. That’s what Breakfast With Santa is all about. Every year before Christmas, the Germantown Kiwanis invites Santa and Mrs. Claus to have breakfast with Germantown families. This year, Santa even brought his reindeer.
In the Santa Room, Santa and Mrs. Claus welcomed children and their families. Each child was invited to present their Christmas list. Moms, dads and grandparents, with cell phone cameras in hand, captured those precious moments of their children with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
“This is such a beautiful event,” one mother told us. “We come to it every year. It has become like a tradition for our family.” Breakfast With Santa is one of those events that makes living in the little village of Germantown so special.
Then the whole family enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the Florian dining hall, with all you could eat pancakes, plus eggs, sausages and bacon. Oh, were those pancakes scrumptious. At some tables we saw three or four generations of a family sitting together. This was an experience that will make memories to share for years to come.
