The Germantown 4th of July Fireworks are on for 2021. The Germantown Kiwanis Club has announced that it is happy to bring back the popular Independence Day tradition here at Firemen’s Park in Germantown, Wisconsin. As the Village of Germantown slowly moves toward normalcy in the wake of the COVID pandemic, Kiwanis has received the okay to move forward with the traditional 4th of July parade and fireworks on the 4th of July this year. Plans are in the works for a safe and enjoyable Independence Day celebration, and a welcome interim progression to what will be a return to normalcy here in America’s heartland.
The parade will start at 3 PM on the 4th, which is on a Sunday this year. The traditional parade route will be used from the Germantown Post Office, down Pilgrim Road to Main Street to Park Street and ending at Firemen’s Park. Parade entries are being accepted now. Parade participants may download the 2021 Parade entry form .pdf, fill it out and send it to Germantown Kiwanis at the address listed on the form. The deadline for 4th of July Parade participant entry is June 1, 2021.
